Hey Mom
I am having way fun out here!!!! It was transfers a few days ago and i got a new companion, and his name is.............ELDER THORPE!!! Hes a way cool guy and we get along great! Hes been out on his mission for about 13 months now, and hes about 20 years old. Oh, I dont know if you found out yet but a few days ago i was at an elderly member's home and we were talking about how his wife was in the hospital and how his daughter was taking care of him. And his daughter came out and we talked with her, and we started talking about were she was from and who she knew and she started talking about how she knew Roberts kids and I was like WOOOO DUDE!!!! Robert really does know everyone. I thought i wouldnt have to deal with that out here, but i guess i was wrong
hahahaha. So her name is Sister Wade and i told her to tell you a secret message so watch out for her
But we are having alot of success out here. We have a lot of cool investigators and the other day we offered to give an investigator family a blessing and they were way stoked about it! They are really promising! Sometimes theres things out here that really test my testimony sometimes, but when i stick it out and fight the opposition i usually find the answer that disproves the thing id be having a hard time with. A way cool analogy i learned is that the gospel is one GIANT puzzle. We have pieces of the puzzle and we can start to see things in the picture, but sometimes we have a piece that is by itself and we dont really know how that fits in with the bigger picture, but if we keep going on finishing the puzzle and never give up, we will sooner or later start to see how that peice fits into the bigger picture. Tell Robert that even though he has pieces of that puzzle he may not like or understand, tell him to never give up on his testimony and I promise that if he doesnt give up his testimony and keeps trying to build his faith instead of tearing it down, he will overtime see how those peices fit into the bigger picture. I love you Mom and tell Robert that i love him to and to never let his testimony be shaken because he doesnt understand some things.

All of you guys out there that are preparing to go on missions, know that a mission isnt easy, but its sooooooooooo much fun! I have laughed harder out here than i think i have for a long time. So do all you can to be able to go on a mission asap!!!!!!!!! Love you all and make sure to do the three vital signs(Prayer, Scripture study, and Church) or else ill have to break some knee caps
