Hi there,

I am one of the ward missionaries of the Harbour Pointe Ward and we see the Elders several times a week whether for splits, correlation meetings or taking them to and from church. Whatever they need we make sure they are taken care of.

We wanted to say hello and thank you so much for raising a worthy young man to go on a mission. We had your son and his companion, Elder Sears over today for dinner and we talked about families and what they have done for us to get us where we are today. He is a joy in our ward and truly dedicated to missionary work. Always has a smile on his face… (We had NY steaks with sautéed mushrooms, baked potato, corn on the cob, French bread, great salad, and a brownie with ice cream and hot fudge drizzled on top. We sent them home with extra brownies.

If we talk extra care of the missionaries, we know someone else is watching out for our son who is currently serving in the China, Hong Kong Mission. He has been out for 17 months and time just flies by. It does get easier. (My wife Connie told me to say that.) We did not want you to freak out not receiving an email on Monday. (My wife also told me to say that.) If my wife does not receive a letter by a designated time frame, she starts looking for the mission home phone number.. HaHa..

Just a quick reminder that the libraries are closed tomorrow for Memorial Day and you will receive an email on Tuesday instead on Monday this week.

Again thank you so much for raising a great young man.

May you reap many blessings during the next 2 years because of the dedication of your son. I will send a notice to add you on Facebook so you can see a few updates every so often. I will also have my wife add you as well. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know and we can take care of anything you need.

Please enjoy a few photos we took just after dinner today, Sunday May 29, 2011. 7:15pm

Sincerely,

Dale and Connie Carey
